Emily

Hey, I’m Emily! I am an Agribusiness major at MTSU. I have been at Valley Growers since April. I have enjoyed getting to learn more about each plant we have and watching everything bloom and grow. I love sharing my new knowledge with our customers and learning from them as well!

Brooke Rose

Working at VG for 3 years. Favorite flower are tulips. What I love about VG is interacting with customers and being around plants. It’s my happy place. Calming. I love seeing all the beautiful colors each season.

Hampton has been part of the team at Valley Growers for three years, where the community-oriented spirit of the small business is what makes the work most rewarding. A favorite among the many plants is the torch lily, with its bold, fiery blooms. Outside of Valley Growers, Hampton is currently pursuing a master’s thesis in chemistry at MTSU.

Kenyon

Hi, i’m Kenyon. I am a current senior at MTSU majoring in Plant and Soil Science and minoring in entrepreneurship. I graduated from high school with an Associates degree in applied sciences. I do landscaping for my own business and have been working at Valley Growers since February of 2026. Through the last few months i’ve grown so much in my overall knowledge of plants, and I hope to continue to improve as I go into my senior year at MTSU. I love working with my coworkers and helping customers and trying to accomplish their desired results for gardens.

Tara Neugebauer

Ive been with Valley Growers for 13 years. I love my job and being able to help customers always makes me happy. I have my Bachelor's in Plant and Soil Science from MTSU (2015).

I love all flowers so choosing a favorite is hard. Devoted mom to for wonderful children.

Jerelyn

Jerelyn has been apart of the team for 3 years!  Nature and outdoor work have always been a big part of my life, so working at Valley Growers feels like a natural fit. I’ve always enjoyed environments that are welcoming, creative, and hands-on. I love that every day here is a little different, whether I’m helping care for plants or assisting customers in finding the perfect flowers, greenery, or seasonal inspiration. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with horses, enjoying time in the slower, peaceful side of being outdoors and playing in my garden!

Carol

Hi, I’m Carol! I was medically retired after 16 years in the army and I started working at Valley Growers in January 2025 while attending school at MTSU. I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Plant & Soil Science. I have been working with and learning about plants for nearly 10 years. At one point, I had over 100 houseplants! I love working at Valley Growers and sharing my knowledge and experience with the community.

Hampton
